“iFrames are so 1990s”

In my SEO research I came across this highly technical post about cookie stuffing from Digiterati Marketing (a UK SEO blog). And a visual depiction of how the author feels about iFrames.

Today I learned about view-throughs from this great infographic

The average click-through rate in the US is a measly 0.1 %. 0.1!

Basically, they are much more effective than click-throughs and account for 85% of the response from online ads.

I’d love to see digital entertainment / media content (online games, Kindle books, etc.) as one of the categories in that product comparison chart, though (“Breakdown of Average Order Values, View-through vs. Click-through).
